I was told to not draw on walls as a child and then as an adult I got paid to do exactly that

Internal wall briefs are often a welcome change of pace from onscreen designs. The styles shown below had been done within different business lines, the purposes differed between each one. Maintaining the purpose of the piece and the brand alongside each other is the most challenging part.

Colour communication was key to unifying the brand style across different sectors. I developed the collage direction with some initial banners I had created previously. Partnering the collage style with corporate colours was how we developed the style of these bigger pieces of work.

It was really cool to work on such a big scale, I had an entire wall as a canvas and as a creative person thats a dream come true. It was challenging in terms of development because the designs would be passed around and often come back with feedback. The key to overcome this is to always be open to feedback but also being willing to show the alternative.
